Encouraged by her chosen family of Shazzer, Jude and Tom, her work colleague Miranda, her mother and her gynecologist Dr. Rawlings (Oscar®-winner Emma Thompson, Sense and Sensibility), Bridget throws herself back into work and starts to get more involved in life again. As she tries to juggle her career, family and love life, she soon finds herself confronted with all kinds of challenges. Not only does she have to stand up to the prejudices of the supposedly perfect mothers at school, she also has to deal with the advances of a much younger man (Leo Woodall, The White Lotus) and survive a series of embarrassing encounters with her son's overly rational science teacher (Oscar® nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor, 12 Years a Slave). But Bridget Jones wouldn't be Bridget Jones if she didn't overcome all these hurdles in a chaotic but charming way.
