Emerson's family moves to a remote and deeply religious community somewhere in Canada. The 15-year-old quickly makes friends with the self-confident Delilah. Together they roam the idyllic woods. Until one day a young girl is found dead. The authorities suspect a predator attack, but Emerson was also stalked by a "monster" in the woods. Together with Delilah and three friends, she decides to unleash her dark powers and declare war on the creature.
