An icy scientist is experimenting on dead people. Another has just had her child die. The two decide to make a pact, but the price is high.

Rose is a pathologist. She has nothing to do with human emotions, only science arouses her interest in physical processes. Celie works as a midwife in the same hospital. When her little daughter dies suddenly, but the corpse, which was autopsied by Rose, is suddenly untraceable, she discovers that the doctor is secretly experimenting with the reanimation of the dead. A pig could already be successfully resuscitated, with the girl she now succeeded in the first attempt on humans. The two women decide to make a pact, but the price is high.
Director Laura Moss succeeds in presenting her own strong vision from familiar genre set pieces, a literally deep under the skin, uncomfortable horror thriller that always remains stylish for all the gruesomeness it shows. Marin Ireland stuns as Rose with her radical interpretation of the mad scientist.
