During a traffic stop, Doug is picked up at the wheel of a truck full of dogs, covered in blood and wearing an evening gown. During interrogation at the police station, he tells the psychologist he has been assigned about events that are so shocking that they defy all imagination. His story leads far back to the days of his childhood, when his mother fled from his sadistic father (Clemens Schick) and Doug - henceforth locked up in the dog pound - made a unique pact with the four-legged friends. This inseparable alliance is the foundation of an incredible life: outcast by the world as an outsider, the DogMan never gives up and - together with his animal army - takes on the mighty and the wicked.
