Vampire expert Professor Ambronsius (Jack MacGowran) travels to Transylvania with his assistant Alfred (Roman Polanski) to prove the existence of the blood-sucking undead. And indeed, they soon come across a princely castle and clear clues...

The oddball Professor Abronsius (Jack MacGowran) and his anxious assistant Alfred (Roman Polanski) want to go on a vampire hunt in Transylvania and eradicate this unwelcome species. They are soon on the trail of the blood-sucking Count Krolock (Ferdy Mayne), who has abducted the beautiful innkeeper's daughter Sarah (Sharon Tate) to his castle. Once there, the uninvited guests are greeted by the annual dance of the vampires.
Roman Polanski has created a classic horror comedy that continues to entertain audiences decades later. Always worth seeing and highly amusing!
