A binding contract is created between you and SAVOY movie theatre Hamburg with the purchase of tickets via our webshop.
Cinema tickets are generally excluded from return/cancellation.
As a gesture of goodwill, you can cancel your purchase directly up to 2 hours before the start of the performance by clicking on the cancel button at the bottom of the confirmation email and the cancel link on the eTicket. After this deadline, tickets can no longer be canceled.
Please note that the FSK requirements are binding. You agree to these in the purchase process and therefore exclude the return of tickets for reasons of FSK non-compliance totally.
The booked performance date is binding. Therefore, please check that you have selected the desired date and the correct location before completing your purchase. It is not possible to exchange tickets for another performance or another venue.
Please note that tickets for special events, private performances, concert/opera & live broadcasts, music events, drive-in movies or other special screenings cannot generally be canceled.
You can also cancel individual seats of an order via the link if you have paid via PayPal or credit card. The respective ticket price will be refunded to you. If you have paid by voucher or customer card, we will be happy to help you cancel individual seats; please contact us before the start of the performance.
For the cancellation / return of online tickets, we generally charge a processing fee of 10% of the purchase price for the chargeback to the payment method selected when the order was placed.
If the option “Booking on voucher” or “Booking on customer card” (if available) is selected, the processing fee is reduced to 5%.
Orders paid for with a customer card will be refunded to the customer card / customer account if the “Booking on customer card” option is selected. The credit is then available again.
Vouchers that you have redeemed for your order at the time of purchase can be used again after a successful cancellation. If the top-up has not been carried out correctly, please inform us using the contact form. We will do this manually without delay.
Note on the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the provision of services in connection with leisure activities if the contract provides for a specific date or period for the provision of services (§ 312 g para. 2 no. 9 BGB), i.e. for scheduled cinema tickets.
In particular, the provisions on distance selling contracts within the meaning of Section 312c of the German Civil Code (BGB) do not apply, as the purchase of cinema tickets linked to a performance is to be assigned to the area of leisure activities and the ticket purchase relates to a specific performance (Section 312g (2) No. 9 BGB). As a gesture of goodwill, SAVOY movie theatre Hamburg may provide for a return in individual cases; however, there is no corresponding claim.
