Hong Kong in the 1980s. The Kowloon Walled City district is a lawless no-man's land ruled by the dreaded triads. The place attracts countless outcasts and grows uncontrollably within a very short space of time until it eventually has the highest population density in the world. In the thicket of the labyrinthine streets, four young outsiders come together, adding fuel to the eternal struggle between two gangster gangs for supremacy in the “City of Darkness”.
