After years on an ego trip, patriarch Royal Tenenbaum returns to the bosom of the family and finds not geniuses but decidedly eccentric contemporaries. In addition to Gene Hackman as Royal, Anjelica Huston, Ben Stiller, Gwyneth Paltrow and Bill Murray shine in Wes Anderson's brilliant ensemble comedy.
