Guillermo Del Toro, Oscar-winning specialist in horror and fantasy, retells Carlo Collodi's classic fairy tale as an epic, loving stop-motion animated film.
The lonely Gepetto builds a doll out of wood, which he christens Pinocchio. It comes to life and becomes his beloved son. But Pinocchio, who doesn't like to follow rules and is bored with school, goes out into the world and stumbles from one adventure to the next.
