Passionate but unsuccessful scientist Cameron is plunged into a nasty midlife crisis. A new neighbor, who seems like a better version of himself, upsets his quiet suburban life. His career implodes and his marriage is on the brink of collapse. When the remains of a crashed space capsule are found in Cameron's garden one morning, he does what he does best: He builds a moon rocket in the garage and revives his childhood dream of becoming an astronaut.
