Rebel

Kamal, an unsuccessful rapper and Youtuber, has become involved in risky drug deals in his native Belgium. When he is hunted by the police because of this, he leaves the family of the civil war to join the fanatics of the Islamic State and, as their cameraman, films propaganda videos amidst death, bombs and hail of bullets. As he becomes more deeply involved in the terrorists' horrors, he begins to make escape plans with Noor, a doctor. But the agents of terror have already targeted his little brother Nassim in Belgium as leverage, and he is increasingly slipping away from his distraught mother Leila. It is the prelude to a journey into the heart of darkness.
