DOG lives in Manhattan and is tired of being alone. One day he decides to build a robot. In this musically exuberant, fantastical animation, one-time Fresh Blood winner Pablo Berger evokes the great love between a dog and a robot with an emotional force reminiscent of early Pixar sensations.
Evenings alone in front of the TV are a thing of the past when Dog orders a robot from the Internet. Rollerblading in Central Park, rowing on the lake, or lying lazily on the beach, the friends do everything together from now on. This is definitely the best summer in Dog's life in a long time. But a series of strokes of fate abruptly tears the great love apart. Will they ever find their way back to each other?
A rousing ode to old New York with echoes of Stephen Spielberg's A.I., squeaky-colorfully animated with great attention to detail - once again Pablo Berger (Fresh Blood winner 2012 for BLANCANIEVES) amazes with a vision that is enchanting in style and content. His exciting adventure about a very special friendship takes our hearts by storm.
