DOG lives in Manhattan and is tired of being alone. One day he decides to build a robot. In this musically exuberant, fantastical animation, one-time Fresh Blood winner Pablo Berger evokes the great love between a dog and a robot with an emotional force reminiscent of early Pixar sensations.
Evenings alone in front of the TV are a thing of the past when Dog orders a robot from the Internet. Rollerblading in Central Park, rowing on the lake, or lying lazily on the beach, the friends do everything together from now on. This is definitely the best summer in Dog's life in a long time.
