A Killer Romance

Black comedy about a policeman who pretends to be a contract killer and gets better and better at it.

Psychology professor Gary Johnson (Glen Powell) leads a rather unexciting life at university, only his new part-time job at the New Orleans Police Department provides a change of pace: as a supposed killer, he serves as a decoy to put his clients behind bars. Gary shows a surprising talent for devising and impersonating tailor-made killer personalities for each of his clients. For Gary's first meeting with the attractive Madison (Adria Arjona), who wants to have her violent husband brought around the corner, he comes up with the character of the hardened killer Ron. But suddenly things get complicated: He really likes Madison and for the first time Gary tries to keep someone out of prison instead of having them arrested. When Madison actually falls in love with the cool and sexy Ron - Alia's Gary - their hot affair triggers a disastrous chain reaction. Because even Madison hasn't laid all her cards on the table yet...
