16-year-old Manuel (Gianmarco Franchini) is the son of gangster Daytona (Toni Servillo), who used to make his mark on Rome's underworld. But Manuel has nothing to do with it - he tries to enjoy the scorching hot summers in Rome as best he can. Until one day he is blackmailed by a group of corrupt carabinieri.
