Le règne animal

In the near future, humanity is plagued by a mysterious disease that gradually transforms some people into animal-like creatures. An accident occurs during the transfer to a specially built center in which an attempt is made to stop the genetic mutations. Fueled by the fear of the other, open hostility breaks out in the local community towards the creatures, who have retreated into the surrounding wilderness after the outbreak. Among them is the mother of 16-year-old Émile (Paul Kircher), who sets off with his father François (Romain Duris) on a desperate search for her. While François clings to the past, Émile notices the first mutations in his own body...
