Une année difficile

Save the planet or rather save yourself? Albert and Bruno are up to their necks in debt and usually only keep their heads above water with windy campaigns. More by chance and lured by free beer, they end up at a meeting of young environmental activists. They have little in common with the ideals of the protesters, but all the more with the committed leader Cactus. Without further ado, the two try to use the group's drive for their own goals - if only by letting blocked motorists pass in exchange for money. But it doesn't take long for their game to be exposed.

Following their hit film ZIEMLICH BESTE FREUNDE, Olivier Nakache and Éric Toledano stage a comedy that is as original as it is warm-hearted, in which Black Friday discount battles meet Fridays-for-Future ideals. Once again, the French directing duo succeeds in overcoming supposedly irreconcilable opposites with a ravishing ensemble and plenty of wit.
