A young teacher arrives at a boarding school for young people with wealthy parents. She is supposed to give a course on conscious nutrition. This goes down well with the young people, because it's about important things and they all want to be important: Health, climate, self-care and last but not least: they can take on capitalism itself with individual nutritional tactics. At the heart of Ms. Novak's teaching is renunciation. The less you eat, the young people are quickly convinced, the greater the self-control, the more lasting the effect on the environment. Mrs. Novak's teaching not only appeals to the minds of her class, but also penetrates deep into their tender souls. The group quickly finds itself in a frenzy of fasting. After all, a good god is one who can even defy the laws of biology. By the time the well-off and always self-reflective parents start to worry, they have long since lost power over their children. Club Zero has become a reality.
