The Marsh King's Daughter

Helena (Daisy Ridley) leads a tranquil life in suburban Michigan with her husband Stephen (Garrett Hedlund) and their young daughter. Behind the middle-class façade, however, she hides a dark secret: her father (Ben Mendelsohn) is the notorious "Bog King", a kidnapper and convicted murderer who held Helena and her mother captive in the wilderness for years. All her life she has tried to put this terrible truth behind her - not even her family knows about it. But when her father escapes from prison after 18 years, the past catches up with her. Helena senses that he is looking for her and that her family is in imminent danger. In order to protect her loved ones, her long-forgotten instincts awaken to new life and the hunter soon becomes the hunted...
