Exactly fifty years ago, the most terrifying horror film in cinema history shocked audiences around the world. Since the death of his wife twelve years ago, Victor Fielding (Tony winner and Oscar® nominee Leslie Odom Jr. One Night in Miami, Hamilton) has been raising their daughter Angela (Lidya Jewett, Good Girls) alone.
When Angela returns with her friend Katherine (newcomer Olivia Marcum) after disappearing into the woods for days without remembering anything, a chain reaction is set in motion that forces Victor to confront abysmal evil.
