Bizarre drama about a man who was tortured as a child and loves only dogs.
During a traffic stop, Doug (Caleb Landry Jones), covered in blood and wearing an evening dress, is picked up at the wheel of a truck full of dogs and arrested. During the interrogation at the police station, he recounts events so shocking that they defy imagination...
The successful director Luc Besson ("Léon - The Professional", "The Fifth Element"), who has won a César among others, looks into spectacularly illustrated abysses and finds hope where humanity reaches its limits and the company of animals promises (one's own) salvation. DOGMAN is a wild trip of a film and a deeply moving cinematic experience at the same time. Caleb Landry Jones ("Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri") who won Best Actor at the 74th Cannes International Film Festival in 2021 for his starring role in Justin Kurzel's "Nitram," shines again in an award-winning leading role.
