Moon The Panda by Gilles de Maistre is the story of an extraordinary friendship between a boy and a panda. Together they go through thick and thin and experience exciting adventures. (AEJ)
Tian would rather play on his Switch than study for school. So his strict father sends him, together with his younger sister, to their grandmother in the countryside, unaware that the majestic mountains of Sichuan harbour an even greater distraction for the boy. On his forays through the dense bamboo forests, Tian discovers a baby panda that has been abandoned by its mother. The two become friends and experience a carefree and adventurous summer until Tian's parents come to visit and discover Tian's secret.
Following his million-selling success ‘Ella and the Black Jaguar’, master director Gilles de Maistre turns his attention to perhaps the most endearing and fluffiest creature in the animal kingdom: the giant panda. The story of the extraordinary friendship between a city boy and a panda is told as a captivating adventure set against a breathtakingly beautiful backdrop.
