Lots of blood. Annoying classmates. And then there's a mysterious killer on the loose. When Jonny moves in with her aunt in a small town, the problems really start. Headaches. Nausea. Lots of blood. Annoying classmates. And then there's a mysterious killer out there doing his thing.
Rebellious Jonny has more than the usual teenage problems: When her father suffers more and more from a migraine with strange symptoms, she has to move in head over heels with her truly eccentric Aunt Hilde, but that's just the beginning of a series of strange incidents. Jonny's body begins to change: Her blood is suddenly everywhere, and soon vision and reality blur into an ominous state. Then more and more girls start disappearing from school. A psychopath is on the loose. And before Jonny falls into his sights, she must turn the tables - as painfully as possible.
Jennifer Reeder's blood-red coming-of-age horror once again makes high school the traumatic focus of teenage life - and yet her sometimes highly disturbing PERPETRATOR is more than just a modern take on 1980s classics like HEATHERS and BLUE VELVET. It's a cry for liberation: loud, shrill, uncomfortable. And, without a doubt, very frightening!
