The Assessment

In a near future where life is optimized and controlled, parenthood is subject to a strict approval process. Mia (Elizabeth Olsen) and her husband Aaryan (Himesh Patel) have submitted their application to have children and must first undergo a suitability test. They are assigned an assessor named Virginia (Alicia Vikander), who accompanies them every step of the way for seven days. The cool, aloof Virginia presents Mia and Aaryan with a series of grueling challenges that push them to their emotional limits and not only shake the foundations of their relationship, but also fuel increasing doubts about the assessor's motives and the integrity of the assessment system.
