The Fog

Exciting horror movie classic about the ghosts of sailors.

Around the campfire, an old captain tells of a ship that sank off the coast of Antonio Bay due to false navigation lights and was robbed by six local men. On the eve of the centenary celebrations, fog settles over the town and inexplicable things begin to happen. In the lighthouse, young Stevie is threatened by supernatural phenomena. The townspeople flee to the church, where Father Malone enlightens them: the spirits of the drowned sailors demand revenge, each wanting a descendant of the murderers of that time. Father Malone is the last.
To coincide with the town's centenary, a small Californian coastal community receives an uninvited visit from a gang of ghost pirates who want to reclaim the treasure they once stole from the townspeople. Atmospherically dense, classic ghost story by horror virtuoso John Carpenter ("Halloween").
