The constant spider threat with its sudden attacks will not only bother the arachnophobes among us. With quick-witted dialogues, French rap music and talented young actors, a great festival finale that is both scary and fun.

Young Kaleb has a weakness for exotic animals. His small room in the run-down apartment he makes-share with his sister is crammed with terrariums full of insects and reptiles. The fact that his sis keeps turning down the power to save money is a constant point of contention between them, and ultimately leads to his fancy new addition, a rare spider of unknown origin, escaping from its nest and leaving a few cocoons behind unnoticed. The highly venomous, belligerent species begins to multiply secretly at first. But at the latest when the first fatality calls a heavily armed and masked police unit on the scene, the tempers of the residents:inside the dreary apartment complex heat up considerably. Soon Kaleb and his clique have to fight their way to freedom, floor by floor, through the sparsely lit hallways. Sneaky neighbors, brutal law enforcement officers and not least a biting army of eight-legged creatures constantly block their way.
